Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung's smallest flagship glass and metal phone for 2016.

** Read our written review here:

The Galaxy S7 brings back two important features that are missing from the S6: a microSD card slot and IP68 water resistance. At first glance, it looks a lot like the Galaxy S6, but has curved sides on the back for a more secure and comfortable grip. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow smartphone has Samsung's TouchWiz UI, the best Snapdragon 820 CPU (US model, Other countries can get the Exynos CPU), 4 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage plus a compatible microSD card slot with cards up to 200 gigs.

The phone has a lovely Super AMOLED screen of 5.1 "2560 x 1440, LTE 4G, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth and a GPS.It has a 5MP front camera and a new 12MP rear camera with fast autofocus, very good low-end capabilities light, 4K video recording and OIS.The Galaxy has a 3,000 mAh battery that is sealed inside. In the US it sells at a total retail price of $ 700. For those who prefer a larger screen phone and / or a screen with curved sides, is the Samsung Galaxy 5.5 "S7 Edge for $ 800 that we will review separately.
