It is a dual SIM 4G device with an impressive 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, a 13 MP camera, data saving mode, HD screen and S Bike mode! The front camera comes with a flash light in front so you can take brilliant selfies in absolute darkness.

The overall look is quite pleasant due to the metallic finish around the edges: the design and the curves that are seen inside the edges really add up to a factor x in the design. However, the J5 feels quite wide in the hand and is not something that you can easily use with just one hand. The large immersive screen is partly to blame.

It is a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. So this is an HD screen, it's just not full HD but it's fine because at this price point this is still quite impressive.

The J7 has a thickness of 8.1 mm, which to be honest, I think it's in the
zone of optimum thickness to ensure a robust construction. But even for a mid-range smartphone, just look at the way the edges are designed and give it a metallic finish. Actually, it is a pretty attractive device even at this price.

But ergonomically speaking, the device feels a little big, especially if you have small hands like mine. Although the J5 is in the phablet area of things, it does not feel very heavy. With only 158 gms, it is expected that the device is heavier, but it is not the case at all.

The Galaxy J5 is a perfect mid-range smartphone for those who want a bit of everything from their smartphone. has the right performance mix with an octa-core processor and RAM and a decent camera.
