He was invited to try Pro-Mounts universal diving filters for GoPro cameras. Apparently they adapt to all types of GoPro cameras.
Since I have spent a small fortune on underwater filters, none of which gave good results, I was eager to try them.
this video is test 1:
– Green water (visibility of 5-6 m)
– Depth 2-6m
-Red & # 39; Snorkel & # 39; filter for any water & Magenta diving filter for green water
My configuration:
2 x GoPro Hero 3 black, recording 1080 48, mounted on a bobber handle with all the connector parts I could find to achieve one type of shot side by side.
I have not edited the image quality of the videos in any way, this is how they came directly from the cameras.
My personal opinion about the red snorkel filter:
In shallow waters (snorkeling) heroes are sensitive to the bright light of the sun and this filter sometimes produces a hysterical red random image, or a strange yellow tone of the seabed. Maybe it would be better in a pool environment?
My opinion about the magenta filter:
This purple little thing made it incredible in the murky and green water in which I was filming. I was impressed with the result. If the images were adjusted and augmented in any editing program with respect to levels and contrast, they would appear even more.
Next: testing the light red snorkel filter (again) and the red diving filter in blue water
