Lisa Gade reviews the iPhone 8 and Apple's iPhone 8 Plus, the top deals for smartphones 2017 with iOS. We will review the iPhone X in early November. Lisa speaks from a person's point of view with iOS, and from the perspective of an Android user, instead of repeating the same specifications spec-focused review. What is special enough that you want one? What do they still lack?
The iPhone 8 has a 4.7 "1334 x 750 screen and the iPhone 8 Plus has a Full HD 1920 x 1080 5.5" display. Both are IPS and a wide range of P3 colors. They run iOS 11 on the new Bionic Apple A11 CPU with Apple GPU and are IP67 resistant to water and dust. They have glass backs and wireless charging support and can do a quick cable charging. The smartphones have a 7MP front camera and a 12MP rear camera with OIS. The 8 Plus has a second rear-projection (telephoto) lens with depth effects and lighting effects. They have a Touch ID fingerprint scanner on the front and are available in 64GB and 256GB capacities. A Lightning 3.5mm adapter, headphones, charger and cable are included in the box.
