Review iPad Mini 4 – 32GB Gold WiFi – Finals 2016 – iOS 10
iPad Mini 4 – Gold:
Other versions of iPad Mini 4:
Today I'm reviewing the incredibly popular iPad Mini 4. Now the iPad Mini 4 has been available for a little over a year, but it's still one of the most popular tablets on the market. The iPad Mini 4 is currently available in three colors: gold, space gray and silver. And it's available with 32 and 128 GB of storage. And there is also a cellular version that allows you to use a mobile data plan to surf the web in places where there is no WiFi. The version I'm testing today is the 32GB WiFi version in gold. I will leave links to all the different versions and colors of the mini, in the description below
In terms of design, it is almost identical to any iPad Mini 4 of the past. You have that beautiful aluminum body on the back with edges and perfectly rounded corners. And at the front, you have a familiar 7.9 "Retina display. What you'll miss, at first glance, is that Apple has been able to cut about 40 g in weight and about 1 mm thick and this has made the Mini 4 is even more comfortable than the Mini 1, 2 or even 3. And none of those tablets were really heavy or bulky, it's just that the Mini 4 goes the extra mile to make it even more comfortable to maintain. There are quite a few things that have been added below the surface, one of the first things you will notice when you set up your iPad Mini 4 is that it now comes with a Touch ID sensor, built into the home button, just like most recent iPhones Now, this is really useful, since you can use it to unlock your device, authorize downloads of applications and even pay for things with Apple payment, although the resolution on the retina display of 7.9 "has not improved since the iPad Mini 2, iPad m Ini 4 now comes with a laminated screen, which should slightly improve the performance of the screen. And as expected, the screen worked very impressively. The colors were rich, well reproduced and the screen has quite wide viewing angles. And when it comes to handling everyday tasks such as surfing the web, my iPad mini 4, which is currently running iOS 10.2, did not disappoint at all. Everything was extremely simple, even when it came to managing web pages full of all kinds of videos, text images and animations. The web browsing experience was almost perfect.
Popular applications such as Youtube and Netflix also worked surprisingly smoothly. And I must say that the quality of the screen makes even navigation videos in applications such as Netflix and YouTube really easy to see. By far, one of the best screens I've seen on a tablet lately. And when I played Full HD videos from Youtube or Netflix, the experience was extremely impressive. Videos played without problems or problems and everything was very clear and well saturated, as you can see here. And although there are only two speakers on the bottom of the tablet, the audio quality was more than adequate, as you can hear in this clip. And fortunately, Apple has not removed the headphone jack of the iPad Mini 4, so you can still plug in your headphones.
When it comes to games, the mini 4 works as expected. He did not release any frame or hang up or delay. The overall experience was very fluid, responsive and free of problems, even when playing games that were very graphics-intensive.
