Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung's flagship Android smartphone from 5.8 "2017, also available as the larger 6.2" Galaxy S8 +. The S8 has a curved screen AMOLED 2960 x 1440 (aspect ratio 18.5: 9) with a minimum of bevels for a compact footprint. The Galaxy S8 runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung's TouchWiz software and its virtual assistant Bixby (the voice activation feature will not be available until later this spring).
The EE model UU It has the Snapdragon 835 CPU, while overseas models can have Samsung's comparable Exynos 8895 CPU. The phone has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. It is water resistant, has Bluetooth 5.0, Samsung Pay, a fingerprint scanner, an iris scanner and a face recognition scanner. Like the Galaxy S7, it has a 12MP rear camera with f1 / .7 lens and OIS that can record 4K video. The front camera is updated to 8MP.
