Recently I had the opportunity to try a GoPro Hero 5 Black. Naturally, I was interested in how the new video stabilization works.

So I rode the GoPro Hero 5 Black next to one of my GoPro Hero 4 Blacks on the roof of the Cayman GTS and went for a ride on some bumpy roads in the Black Forest.
The mounts and the camera configuration were exactly the same to allow a true side by side comparison.

The results are very interesting and I am curious to read what you think.
One thing that always bothered me with my footage from this mounting position is the micro vibrations caused by the way I mounted the camera. Hero 5 can improve the situation but it has other side effects that I am not willing to deal with. I think it would be better to try a different mount with a shorter arm.
