Lisa Gade reviews Apple's flagship smartphone duo in 2016: the 4.7 "iPhone 7 and the 5.5" iPhone 7. Both sports screens with a wider range of P3 colors but with the same resolution as their predecessors, and run iOS 10 on the Apple A10 Fusion 2.3 GHz CPU, 64 bits with 2 gigs of RAM in the 7 and 3 gigs of RAM in the 7 More.

The external changes are minimal, but there are quite a few new features inside: IP67 water resistance, stereo speakers, higher storage capacities, 7MP 1080p front camera and improved rear cameras.
The iPhone 7 Plus has two rear camera lenses, both 12MP: a standard wide-angle lens and the new telephoto lens (equivalent to 56 mm). The standard camera has OIS, just like the iPhone 7, but the tele lens does not have OIS. The headphone jack is gone, replaced by the Lightning connector, and the Lightning headset and a 3.5mm Lightning adapter are in the box. Battery life is improved, the start button is now in solid state with haptic feedback.
